Donations

NEMA House, Inc. being a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization with limited funds, depends on the kindness of the community to make a difference in the lives of the homeless, underprivileged and underserved who come to us for help. Generous donations of food, supplies, gift cards and/or monetary donations are always needed to assist our friends in the community. The list below outlines the donations that we are in need of.

WE NEED A BUILDING!

To provide hot meals, clothing, showers, laundry, computer lab for job search, training & connections to other resources as well as one-on-one & group counseling/mentoring sessions.

Clothing (MEN & WOMEN-ALL SIZES)

At this time we can ONLY accept:

  • Business & Business Casual shoes & attire for job interviews
  • Under garments, socks, etc. (New, unopened, lightly used)
  • Work Boots

Food (Non-perishable, non-expired)

For our Hot Meal Food-Sharings:

    **WALMART, TARGET, SAMS CLUB, COSTCO (and other local retailers)

    Individuals, businesses and other organizations can purchase gift certificates/cards as a donation to NEMA House. These certificates will allow us to buy supplies in bulk, utilizing our tax-free status and will be used to purchase food, work and school clothes, shoes and the above mentioned needed items. This will allow the facility to purchase the specific supplies needed for scheduled events at any given time, at the best price.
